When the Land Is Wounded, the People Must Return to God

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

: 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)

When a nation faces corruption, injustice and hardship, God calls His people to humble themselves, pray, seek Him and turn from wrongdoing. The call begins with us. Prayer must lead to changed hearts and righteous actions.

Word for the Day
The healing of a nation begins with transformed people.

Today’s Challenge

Pray for Ghana, our leaders, youth and environment. Ask God what you can change in yourself and your community.

Prayer

Lord, forgive us and give us clean hearts. Help us live with integrity and compassion. Heal our land and make us instruments
